The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix took place on 20 November 2022 at the Yas Marina Circuit and covered a distance of 58 laps of 5.279 km, giving a total distance of 306.183 km.

Sebastian Vettel of the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant F1 Team started his final Formula 1 race from 9th position in his AMR22 race car. In the last Grand Prix of the season, Vettel managed to finish in the points once again with a 10th place.

After 15 years in Formula 1, Vettel ended his active racing career. During this time he celebrated a total of 53 Grand Prix victories and won the world championship title four times.
